We had to reschedule our “book group” discussion of girls’ education and Melinda Gates' book, The Moment of Lift: How Empowering Women Changes the World. The good news? That means you can still join us for this talk this coming Sunday, August 15!
Some of our supporters were really inspired by The Moment of Lift. We decided it would be fun to have a book group-like discussion and connect some of the themes from the book with Mali Rising's work and your support. Please join us!
Not sure if you want to participate? Read a little about the book and some reviews on Good Reads. It is a surprisingly easy read and some of us (the geeks) even think it could qualify as a summer beach read. :)
The book discussion will be held online via zoom on Sunday, August 15 at 1pm pacific/2pm mountain/3pm central/4pm eastern. This event is free and will be fun and informal. We think you’ll get the most out of the event if you’ve read the book, but even if you don't we think you'll find the discussion edifying. RSVP here to save your space.
