Do the dog days of summer have you a bit flat? Cheer yourself up with Mali Rising’s Heroes Month on social media.
All August long we are featuring the great people making change in the world with Mali Rising. Mostly, we are inspired by our student heroes — kids who overcome long walks, threats of early marriage, or other obstacles to make it to class at our schools. But heroes come in all shapes and sizes — from the teachers working hard in crowded classrooms to volunteers making our work possible on a shoestring budget to the donors making our budget a reality.
